Snow and Ice Crisis

Our City has proclaimed a Snow and Ice Crisis. We have 4 inches of snow and 8-10 inch icicles hanging off of everything - but Crisis?

If you know how to drive in the snow and a few inches does nothing but ever so slightly quell the desire to see a blanket of white everywhere, you are better off staying off the road. Because here, 4 inches is like 4 feet and the safest thing on the road is the snow and ice. Much better to reflect on snow shovels and 4-wheel drive winters in the safety of your home than play a game that combines Russian Roulette and Pin Ball, more commonly called driving in a Pacific Northwest Snow and Ice Crisis.

Zeke's priorities are, as always, with his ball. Hard to see the frozen and snow covered treasure that Mother Nature can't hide from my Dog, even under a 4 inch white blanket. It's there, between his front feet. He has been begging to go out and play since 5:00am. Apparently, it is uber fun to toss your frozen ball in the air and pounce on it, root around in the the white stuff like a pig in muck. Then whine at the door to come in, snuggle between a couple of cats to warm up, and beg to go out for the next round.
